By the time you read this, the first episode of Telltale's Sam & Max: Season One should be available for purchase. Now, I know I've ranted at length about my distaste for the voice acting of Max in the game, and I know there have been numerous times I've gotten a bad feeling about the direction of the game - but when I stopped and really thought about it, I came to one conclusion - namely that after all my bitching about how LucasArts has abandoned the graphic adventure genre and how I feel Sam & Max: Freelance Police would have been a commercial success, it would have been hypocritical of me to not pick up this game.
The fact that Telltale has wisely offered a preorder discount when you purchase all six episodes at once along with the bonus option of getting season one on disc for the cost of shipping (if you preorder all six episodes) when the first season wraps up certainly didn't hurt either. So long as I can manage to stay awake for an evening, something that seems to be getting harder and harder of late, I should have some first impressions of the game in thursdays news.
