In his post regarding the release of Pac-Man on Xbox Live Arcade, Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb, Xbox Live's director of programming, stated that this release would officially "wrap-up" Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays.
When pressed regarding the four games named and dated by the UK Official Xbox Magazine by his readers (including myself), he stated that Microsoft has made no announcements about the next games coming to the service, or when those games would be released;
"Allow me to clarify. Moving forward, when we release an Arcade title...it will happen on a Wednesday. The five-title 'Arcade Wednesday' kick off promotion ends today. That said, we have not made any announcements or specific dates for previously announced Xbox Live Arcade titles. More titles are coming we just have not said exactly when." -Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb, Xbox Live director of programming
So now the question is, are the folks at Microsoft just playing their usual "no comment" game or are the dates given to OXM UK just speculation? I guess we'll know next wednesday, won't we? Be sure to tune in same time, same bat-channel.
