A posting up at Kotaku states that Famitsu.com is reporting that during Nintendo's Management Policy Briefing, company president Satoru Iwata stated that Nintendo would be announcing the ship date for the Wii this September.
Iwata also gave a price range for the Wii Virtual Console games ($4 - $8), noted that the Nintendo DS would be able to be used as a touch-screen controller for the Wii, commented that Nintendo planned to ship 6 million Wii consoles by April 2007 and noted that those consoles would be sold at a loss.
